Robotics first came to Chaminade College School in 2008. Celebrating its eleventh year since conception, the Chaminade Gryphons are establishing themselves as a foothold in the FIRST Robotics competitions. The team, filled with school spirit, is making moves to become the independent leader of alliances rather than the support. The Robotics Team is an integral part of the Chaminade Brotherhood as it allows students to explore their diverse talents in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, programming, media, and more. The 2018 Season was highly successful for the team, pushing them to work even harder to succeed further in the 2019 Season.

The 2019-2020 FIRST Robotics Season set out a Star Wars theme for their new tournament. With it, brought a new set of challenges for Team 2634. A bot was needed to be able to pick up, store, and shoot up to 5 balls, while also being able to spin a horizontal wheel and pulling itself up a hanging rod that the bots need to balance out. With Team 2634's dedication, effort, and skilled team members, we were able to create a bot that can conquer tasks, while maintaining a weight under the limit of 125lbs.

Highly Skilled StudentsWhile mentors and teachers are on site to help supervise and generate ideas, the team and its functions are student-driven. Countless hours have been spent in the Robotics Room carefully designing, engineering, and testing the robot. Each component of the robot has been throroughly thought-out and planned beforehand, minimizing any risk, issues, and errors. With the experience that the team leads gained over the years, they can apply their acquired knowledge and wisdom to help build a better bot each year.
